Everything is One thing
I imagine a place somewhere between fantasy and reality. A world that recognizes the interconnectivity of the natural and the spiritual planes. By depicting women existing peacefully with animals I aim to suggest a world we have lost connection with. There is a subtle suggestion that our current societal structure is in deep need of feminine energy and emotional reasoning to counteract our highly scientific and industrial left-brain framework. The abstract backgrounds suggest a sense of floating. A sense of possibilities while at the same time - a metaphoric lack of solid ground. I feel both a personal and a collective longing for healing, authenticity, connection and freedom.
